I'll walk through fire for you
Just don't ask me to stay,
Coz baby, I'm always,
Always, running away.

Ripe Fruit

Her heart split open like ripe fruit,
Blood, like a glove on her hand
Dropped into a pool at her feet
As she gave one final squeeze.

Some nights the air itself
Hangs heavy on your skin,
As if weighed down with memories
And broken promises
Hot, like the burning ache
Of regret.

Earth Song

The Sky wrapped itself around me
As the Moon kissed me goodnight
And the Earth sang a quiet song
That both shattered and healed my heart.

fragile threads and paper hearts
hung from the walls
in a mocking display
of romance,
broken bottles
crunched underfoot
like the shattered remains
of discarded dreams,
lips dripped lies
like honey
to fill the empty spaces
dressed up as people...

Her lips dripped
with icicles
not even the warmth
of his kiss
could melt

Through the broken fragments
Of a tortured reality
She clawed at the flesh
Binding her

Jagged nails tore shreds of skin
And the metallic scent of blood
Urged her on,
Gauging deeper…

Her fingers slid through
The hot, flowing blood
As her body contorted,
Digging deeper…

A guttural moan escaped
Her lips, as she gripped the bone,
And with a wicked wrench
She tore her wings free
