Confined

In the silence they come for me
Witnesses to my crimes
Dragging me away in chains
Bound countless times

They take me into the void
And pin me down with force
I scream and cry and struggle
Until my voice is hoarse

My body is covered in bruises
My flesh is torn by their will
The darkness seeps into my bones
A creeping, crawling chill

This never ending torment
Is wrecking havoc on my mind
I struggle to keep my wits together
In this cage I am confined

Writhing in this emptiness
My soul shuddering in the void
I feel the darkness taking me
As my hope is utterly destroyed

Such Pretty Things

A pale moon glows
The stars twinkle bright
The faeries are dancing
It’s a magical night

Soft flowers are tucked
Into dark flowing tresses
And glittering on such
Ethereal dresses

The water is shimmering
With the silver moonlight
Oh what a beautiful
Glorious sight!

The scent of jasmine
Permeates the air
As the garden is filled
With ones so Fair

Their twinkling laughter
Is like an instrument all its own
The music so delightful
The night starts to moan

And there on the shores
Of a mysterious sea
Such pretty faeries
They call to me
