I will breathe you in all night
Your scent lingers on my sheets
Amidst the tear stained pillows
And a history that repeats

I thought we were forever
Or at least as close as can be
But now I’m all alone again
And this grief wont set me free

I curl myself into your pillow
And inhale your manly scent
My fingers trace your outline
As my soul cries its lament

You say that we aren’t over
You still love me just the same
Yet you went and left me here
Now I cry and sob your name

Every day I miss you more
Though we still talk and laugh
I can’t shake this bitter feeling
That I’ve lost my other half
