Night Beauty Series
Night Beauty
A woman in flowing robes walks
Steadily through the rising mist
The Moon is full and lights her way
Her skin shimmering, star-kissed
She follows a path no-one else can see
There’s a map drawn upon her heart
She feels it leading her gently along
Its been guiding her from the start
Her gentle steps do not disturb
There is silence in the air
She feels a welling in her heart
As she seeks out the Ones so Fair
There is a radiance about her
A beauty thats rarely seen
As she glides through the glistening
Night as though lost inside a dream
Night Beauty part 2
Ahead she sees the lamplight
A beacon for travellers in the night
The Faerie realm lies before her
Ah! You’ve never seen such a sight
Magick shimmers in the air
The flowers are in bloom
Their fragrance wafts throughout
The night, an enchanting perfume
She steps before the Queen so Fair
Courtesy’s with perfect grace
The Fair Queen smiles lovingly
Upon the beautiful woman’s face
The clouds in the sky, do part a little
The Moon shines down from above
The Queen reaches out and embraces
The daughter she called Love.

The Inevitable
Clinging desperately to hope
To the joy that once filled my heart
Watching, in disbelief as we are
Increasingly torn apart
Aching to go back, to those
Awesome times we shared
Longing to stop the inevitable
Wondering, can this be repaired?
Loving you has changed me
In ways I’d never dreamed
Yet still there is so much
That simply cannot be redeemed
I wish that I could see you again
And be held in your embrace
I long to nuzzle into you
As you kiss my tear stained face
My heart, it just won’t let you go
And my soul cries the tears I hide
As every day we draw it out
Neither one of us willing to decide
To the joy that once filled my heart
Watching, in disbelief as we are
Increasingly torn apart
Aching to go back, to those
Awesome times we shared
Longing to stop the inevitable
Wondering, can this be repaired?
Loving you has changed me

I long to nuzzle into you
As you kiss my tear stained face
My heart, it just won’t let you go
And my soul cries the tears I hide
As every day we draw it out
Neither one of us willing to decide
